PENNY – Mallory McGill

Mallory is from the Sunshine State. She attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where she studied theatre.  She also studied acting at the Atlantic Theater Company and the New York Film Academy in New York City. Since moving to LA, a little less than a year ago, she has trained with Lesly Kahn, Annie Grindlay, and Michelle Danner. Although she has shot many different projects, Nowhere Road is, beyond any shadow of a doubt, her absolute favorite!

JESSE – Jacob Motsinger

Jacob Motsinger was born on July 9, 1987, in Des Moines, IA, and raised in Slater, IA, in a blended family of eleven children.  He graduated from Ballard High School, in 2005, where he was involved in Football, Wrestling, Soccer, Concert Band, Jazz Band, National Honor Society, and Drama.  This is where Jacob got his first taste of the stage. He starred in The Sting, as Johnny Hooker, and It’s a Wonderful Life, as George Bailey.

When he graduated, he decided to attend Luther College in Decorah, IA, where he would major in pre-medicine.  After his first semester of college, Jacob auditioned for Barbizon-Royal, a talent agency that would send competitors to a talent contest in New York called, International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA).

In the summer of 2006, Jacob traveled to New York to compete against around 3,000 other actors, models, dancers, and singers, in categories such as sitcom, commercial, soap, and cold-reading.  Barbizon-Royal awarded him Actor of the Year, which was the talent agency’s pick of the best actor that they brought to New York.  Jacob also won 3rd Runner up in the IMTA Actor of the Year Competition.  From there, Jacob made the decision to post-pone education and move to Los Angeles in October of that year.

CHET – Matt Lasky

Matt Lasky is a brilliant artist who brilliantly conveys his artistic brilliance in many artsy ways. His mom told him so! He has paid his dues on the stage in such plays as Hurly Burly, Cuckoo’s Nest, A Few Good Men, and of course, a half dozen of the most overproduced Shakespearean classics that we all have grown to abhor. He has since been seen in quite a few films and television shows: Shades of Hope as the first lead in a 1/4 million dollar Vietnam War short film ( a slight misallocation of funds), InAlienable where he was Taft Hartleyed for accidentally knocking out Richard Hatch of Battlestar Galactica fame during their fight scene (sorry Dick!), the upcoming horror film Road to Red in which he emaciated himself a la ‘The Machinist” to convincingly kill and eat a group of skaters one by one, and let’s not forget the dozen History Channel and Discovery Channel programs he has appeared on! Watch out for the Pilot episode of Mega Beast where Matt can be seen fighting a treacherous green screen off the port bow of a fishing boat! Matt is also a part of the stunt/Mocap team that produces the WWE video game series where he portrays all of your favorite WWE superstars …somewhat convincingly! Oh, one more shameless self promotion: Matt has also written and directed his first short film Ultimatum which is currently hitting the festivals and has plans for setting forth on his sophomore effort with a Gore Western in the fall.  Matt’s passion for film was reinvigorated while participating in this project! The quality of the product and the character of the people involved on this shoot have reassured him that this pursuit is well worth the risks! Matt loves Stephanie!
